Background
Matt and Roger Kelly (two brothers from Ohio) have always been on the lake. They grew up on the lake and have been professional dock, seawall, and boat lift installers all their lives. With decades of experience, they knew the best and worst features in a dock.
Design
With no dock on the market that fully satisfied their needs as an installer and their customers, Matt and Roger set out to build a dock that would. They incorporated every aspect of a dock they liked and left out the problems that they dealt with for years with poor designs. After months of design, the first prototype was born. Next was materials and manufacturing.

The X8 Dock today is the result of careful design and innovation from decades of experience from seasoned dock installers. X8 Docks are proudly built in Ohio and shipped nation wide.
